FS2002 FAB AT-29 (super tucano ALX) The new multi-purpose Super Tucano - based on the successful EMB 312 Tucano - was developed for training and operational missions from remotely located, unprepared airfields deprived of support infrastructure. Latest generation digital avionics, including head-up display (HUD) and a computerized weapons management system, accompany a night vision system, an on-board oxygen generating system (OBOGS), and built-in test equipment for easy fault identification and repair. The Super Tucano’s five underwing and fuselage stations can carry a wide range of ordnance. A light attack version of the Super Tucano, the ALX, is also fitted with two .50 in machine guns installed in the wings. This aircraft is available in single and two-seat versions, with the dual pilot variant featuring a forward-looking infrared (FLIR) system under the fuselage to give it night surveillance and attack capability.
