FSX-ready 2d panel for De Havilland Vampire. This panel is built around a modified background originally made by Simone Pratticò. The gauges are all freeware to the best of my knowledge and are compatible with FSX. I do not know if this will work in FS9. The goal in creating this panel was an attempt to match the appearance of the actual Vampire panel within the limits imposed by the Flight Simulator 2d panel format. I also wanted to create a sim-pilot-friendly version so compromises were necessary. See the included jpg of a real panel with instrument locaitons identified. To install, go to your Venom main file and re-name your current panel file (something like “panel.orig.” Then put the “Panel” file from this zip file into the Venom main file. Copy the “Gauges” into the gauge file in your fsx main file. If youve been at this Flight Sim hobby for any length of time, it is likely you already have most or all of the gauges already in your file. When asked if you want to over-write, the choice is yours. This panel has three pop-up windows, accessed by pressing a combination of the shift key plus a number. They are: (shift+2): GPS (shift+3) Radio stack (shift+4) Autopilot A hearty thank you to those who designed all the gauges…wish I knew how to do that! This is freeware. Don’t use it to make money.
