SimVoice Copilot 1.1.0.0 Released — Now Available on the Microsoft Store
Free for everyone. Premium your way. A more natural copilot.
SimTech Aviation has officially released SimVoice Copilot 1.1.0.0 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The new version is now available through the Microsoft Store and represents the largest evolution of SimVoice Copilot so far.
A New Permanent Free Version
SimVoice Copilot can now be used with a permanent Free plan. Pilots can experience core voice-control, checklist, EFB and customization capabilities without an expiring trial.
Pilots who want the complete feature set can upgrade to Premium Monthly or the new Premium Lifetime option.
AI Command Builder
One of the biggest additions in version 1.1 is the new AI Command Builder.
Instead of manually building every complex workflow, pilots can describe a cockpit intention using natural language. SimVoice Copilot can translate that description into a reviewable action plan using actual simulator and SimVoice capabilities.
Command plans can include:
- Microsoft Flight Simulator and SimConnect actions
- Parameterized values such as headings, altitudes and other settings
- Multiple actions executed in a defined order
- Existing keyboard commands
- Spoken SimVar call-outs
- Live simulator values
- Deterministic conditions
- Reusable cockpit procedures and command groups
The generated plan remains reviewable and validated before it becomes an executable SimVoice command.
More Natural Voice Commands
Version 1.1 also expands SimVoice Copilot's Natural Command Resolver. Pilots can use more natural variations of existing configured commands while SimVoice continues to map the request to a known action and validate it before execution.
Advanced Spoken SimVar Call-outs
Spoken simulator information is now considerably more flexible. SimVoice Copilot can build configurable responses from live simulator data, including multiple SimVars and reusable spoken variables.
This allows pilots to create their own cockpit information requests and responses instead of being limited to a small collection of predefined call-outs.
OpenAI Neural Voice
Premium pilots can now select OpenAI Neural Voice for SimVoice Copilot responses, with 13 available voices, streaming playback, intelligent caching and automatic System Voice fallback.
- Premium Monthly: 120 Neural Voice minutes per billing cycle
- Premium Lifetime: 1,200 initial Neural Voice generation minutes that do not expire
- Cached responses consume 0 minutes
- Voice previews do not consume the user's Neural Voice balance
- System Voice remains available as an automatic fallback
Only newly generated Neural Voice audio consumes the included balance. Repeated responses served from cache do not.
Premium Lifetime
SimVoice Copilot now offers a Premium Lifetime entitlement as a one-time purchase. Premium software access does not expire.
As a thank-you to the people who supported SimVoice Copilot early, existing customers who paid for the previous Annual Premium plan are being upgraded to Premium Lifetime at no additional cost.
Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator
SimVoice Copilot continues to provide its established flight-simulation features, including:
- Voice-controlled simulator commands
- Customizable command profiles
- Voice-to-keyboard commands
- Spoken simulator data and SimVar call-outs
- Flight-phase-aware commands
- Guided Voice Checklists
- Native MSFS 2024 checklist integration
- In-sim MSFS 2024 EFB integration
- English and Spanish voice-command support
The goal remains the same: allow desktop and VR pilots to spend less time searching for controls and more time flying the aircraft.
