SimVoice Copilot 1.0.17.0 is one of the most significant updates released for the application so far. The new version introduces voice-operated checklists, deeper integration with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and several compatibility, stability, and user-interface improvements.
SimVoice Copilot is a companion application for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 that lets pilots execute simulator commands using natural spoken English or Spanish. Standard recognition runs locally on the computer and does not require a permanent connection to an artificial intelligence service.
Voice-operated checklists
The main feature introduced in version 1.0.17.0 is the new Voice Checklists system. SimVoice Copilot can read each checklist item and wait for the pilot’s confirmation before moving to the next step.
Pilots can use configurable confirmation phrases such as:
- Checked, Done, or Roger in English.
- Comprobado, Hecho, or Entendido in Spanish.
The application can also recognize the expected response printed for the current checklist item. For example:
- Parking brake — Set can be confirmed by saying “Set”.
- Battery — On can be confirmed by saying “On”.
- Flight controls — Check can be confirmed by saying “Check”.
These responses are added dynamically while the checklist is running. Generic words such as “On”, “Off”, or “Set” do not become permanent global commands outside the relevant checklist item.
Complete checklist session control
Voice Checklists also supports commands for controlling the entire session:
- Pause and resume the checklist.
- Repeat the current item.
- Skip an item.
- Return to the previous item.
- Start the next checklist.
- Cancel the session.
Confirmations cannot advance the procedure while the checklist is paused. After resuming, the expected response is immediately available again.
Garmin G3000 and Vision Jet G2 synchronization
SimVoice Copilot 1.0.17.0 includes a WASM bridge developed by SimTech Aviation to extend communication with custom avionics in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
On supported aircraft such as the Cirrus Vision Jet G2, a confirmation spoken in SimVoice Copilot can also advance the checklist displayed in the Garmin G3000.
The bridge is included inside the signed application package. SimVoice Copilot automatically installs or updates it in the user’s Community folder when required. It does not install a driver or Windows service and does not require administrator privileges.
Legacy MSFS 2020 checklist compatibility
Some aircraft available in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 retain legacy variants or structures from aircraft also included in MSFS 2020. The new release expands checklist discovery across both simulator installations when compatible content is available.
This improves checklist availability for aircraft such as the Cessna 172 G1000, the Cessna 152, and other compatible or legacy models.

Availability
SimVoice Copilot 1.0.17.0 will be distributed through the Microsoft Store. Existing users will receive the update through the normal Store update process after Microsoft completes its certification.
The local artificial intelligence package remains optional. Standard voice commands and Voice Checklists can be used without downloading the additional AI model.
