SimVoice Copilot 1.0.14.0 Released

SimVoice Copilot 1.0.14.0 improves numeric voice commands, adds FPS and combined wind call-outs, introduces searchable SimConnect catalogs, and delivers major stability enhancements for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024.

SimVoice Copilot 1.0.14.0 is now available, introducing more reliable voice recognition, new flight information call-outs, faster configuration tools and major stability improvements.

This update continues our goal of making voice interaction with Microsoft Flight Simulator more natural, accurate and dependable. SimVoice Copilot works with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 and supports voice commands in both English and Spanish.

More reliable numeric voice commands

Version 1.0.14.0 significantly improves the recognition and processing of commands containing numbers, especially headings, altitudes and other values used during flight.

  • Improved recognition of headings such as 110, 210 and 310.
  • Better handling of heading values 000 and 360.
  • More dependable interpretation of spoken numbers in English and Spanish.
  • Faster value input with shorter and more natural response times.
  • Improved handling of commands spoken as a complete sentence.

Commands such as Set heading two one zero or Set altitude twelve thousand are now processed more consistently.

New Wind and FPS call-outs

SimVoice Copilot can now provide additional information through configurable call-outs.

Wind information

The new wind call-out can report the current wind direction and speed directly from the simulator.

“Wind is from 270 degrees at 15 knots.”

Simulator frame rate

A new FPS call-out can report the simulator’s current frame rate during flight.

“FPS 58.”

Both options are available from the Call-outs configuration screen and can be used like other simulator information call-outs.

Faster command configuration

Configuring profiles and commands is easier in this release.

  • SimConnect Events can now be searched directly from the event selector.
  • Call-out variables include a searchable selector.
  • Commands are displayed alphabetically by default.
  • Commands that are exactly duplicated are removed automatically.
  • Localized profile commands and overrides are handled more consistently.

These changes make large command profiles easier to browse, maintain and customize for different aircraft.

Clearer and more responsive feedback

Voice responses and command feedback have been refined to feel faster and more natural.

  • Reduced waiting time when a command requires a spoken value.
  • More reliable matching between parameterized commands and their values.
  • Improved synchronization of spoken responses.
  • Clearer feedback when a simulator function is not available for the active aircraft.

Major stability improvements

Version 1.0.14.0 includes extensive internal work focused on reliability during long flight sessions.

  • Safer voice-recognition processing in Push-to-Talk mode.
  • Reduced risk of audio and native recognition crashes.
  • Improved handling of simultaneous text-to-speech responses.
  • Reduced interface freezes while loading command catalogs.
  • Improved SimConnect connection and disconnection handling.
  • SimVoice Copilot now closes automatically after Microsoft Flight Simulator is closed.
  • Expanded diagnostic information for support packages.

These improvements provide a more dependable experience from application startup through simulator shutdown.

English and Spanish support

All major improvements in this release apply to both supported languages. Users can continue operating SimVoice Copilot in English or Spanish, including localized commands, spoken feedback, settings and call-outs.

Aircraft compatibility note

Voice control of the flap selector in the Cirrus Vision Jet is currently unavailable because of a known aircraft-specific compatibility issue. SimVoice Copilot now identifies this condition immediately and displays a clear explanation instead of performing repeated compatibility attempts.

Other compatible voice commands remain available for the aircraft.

Available from Microsoft Store

Existing users can obtain version 1.0.14.0 through Microsoft Store updates. New users can install SimVoice Copilot from its official Microsoft Store listing.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 or 2024 must be running with an active flight for simulator commands to be executed. Voice-recognition testing and application configuration can be used without an active simulator connection.
