CFS Macro Studebaker US6. CFS Version of a WWII ground vehicle. The Studebaker US6 was a 6x6, 2. 5 ton, cargo truck, built by the Studebaker Company from 1941-1945, used by Allied Forces during the Second World War. This virtual macro, shows three versions. Open truck, canvas-truck and USAAF refuelling tanker. Some Studebaker US6 trucks, delivered and produced on the Soviet Union in 1942, were fitted with BM-13-16 Katiusha Rocket Launchers. The US6 had a Hercules built six-cylinder gasoline engine that produced 94 horsepower (70 kW), with a five-speed transmission plus a two speed transfer case. Production was divided between GMC producing trucks for the US Army, Studebaker Corporation producing 2. 5-ton trucks for Lend-Lease, and International Harvester producing for the US Navy & Marines

Three primary manufacturers produced over 900, 000 2. 5-ton trucks in all, in both 6x4 and 6x6 axle wheel versions, with approximately 200, 000 Studebaker trucks built in thirteen variations, including dump truck and tractor models. Studebaker trucks were unique from other 2. 5-ton trucks built for the war effort because vent windows were included in each door. These windows were separate from the window that rolled down into the door and could be rotated out to help with ventilation. Large numbers of Lend-Lease Studebaker trucks were sent into the Soviet Union via the Persian Corridor and Artic Convoys. Studebaker US6 trucks were also used in the construction of the Burma Road. (Source. Wikipedia on-line) I have created a api macro with Easy Object Designer (EOD), Version 2. 0. 47 (Matthias Br ckner), to generate three static Studebaker US6, used by USAAF Ground Services on WWII. Some textures are based on pictures availables on WWII Drawings site, mastered by Vincent Bourgui on, Rochefort (Belgium) and www. o5m6. de, Engines of the Red Army site. This macro was tested only in CFS1 sceneries, but I believe that can work without problems in CFS2-3 and FS2000-2002. All mine API macros, could be included on objects libraries with crash detection (for CFS missions), but must be distributed with the original API-MACRO copyright.
