FS2004 Sikorsky VS-44A Antilles Air Boats Excambian Four-engined flying boat used 1968 by Antilles Air Boats in Virgin Islands. AAB owned by Charles Blair, who piloted VS-44 during WWII. After his death in 1978 his wife, actress Maureen OHara, became President and CEO of the airline. Blue-white-red civilian paint layout used by AAB. Also includes blue-white layout used by Avalon Air Transport 1957-1967 in S. California shuttle service. Visual model improved to Flight Simulator Design Studio (FSDS) 3.5.1 from 2005 version. Higher-resolution instruments gauges included. Flight dynamics modifications by Brian Horsey. A flying boat, not an amphibian. Beaching gear provided. Can be taxied in and out of water.
