Italian Air Force, Macchi C. 202 Folgore. Lecce Training School. The Macchi C. 202 was one of the best fighters of the Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force) during the WWII. Before the end of the War almost all the C. 202 were converted to C. 205 higher standards. Some survived C. 202 were used in postwar period as advanced trainers at Lecces Flying School.
