The model first flew in April 1946. The KZ II Trainer was used to train Danish Air Force pilots at AVN AirBase until 1955, in which year the remaining 9 KZ II Trainer were sold for civil use. At the moment there are exclusively two airworthy KZ II Trainer OY-FAK & OY-FAT and three others are under restoration.
