Weather Maker Enhanced Edition to be Released June 4, 2004

Calibre Software Solutions stated that it will release Weather Maker Enhanced Edition 1.0 on Friday, June 4, 2004. They also stated that this application is for only temporary use until Weather Maker Professional is released. Weather Maker Enhanced Edition (codename E2) will be freeware and will require the latest version of FSUIPC. A freeware key will be supplied. Weather Maker Professional (codename Tempest) has been delayed for release until Microsoft releases Windows XP SP2.

A spokesperson for Calibre stated that the delay is needed because of the new API changes within Windows XP SP2. However, they are well aware of the anticipation of many for the release of this product. The spokesperson stated our fans will not be disappointed with Tempest. Right now if Microsoft makes its deadline Weather Maker Professional should go gold in Mid August of 2004. However, if Microsoft were to delay this release, then Calibre would be forced to release WMPRO no later than August 2004 because of future pending projects.
