Real Flight, the producers of Wonderful Rio for FS2000 brought a new proposal for the new version of their top-seller. The project is being developed since september of 2001, and the idea is to give to the virtual world the busiest route net in commercial aviation in South America: the Brazilian Air Shuttle. The Air Shuttle links the 3 most principal cities in industries and economy (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte) among themselves and Brasília (the capital of Brazil).Due to the complexity of this scenery, the project was divided in 3 stages:- Volume 1: Brasília
- Volume 2: Belo Horizonte and Rio (Wonderful Rio 2002 - which will not be sold apart of Vol. 2)
- Volume 3: São Paulo
All these packs will also contain the support airports of the Air Shuttle.
The first pack, Brasília, was reproduced using satellite images and sharp cartographical data (DET - Digital Elevation Terrain). The most important buildings and monuments were created using GMax. This add-on will allow you to update your global Flight Simulator 2002 scenery, with one of the busiest and most modern airports in South America.
Aerodromes included in the pack:
a.. Brasilia Intl. Airport;(Presidente Juscelino Kubistcheck (Air Shuttle)
b.. Santa Genoveva Airport in Goiânia and Aeroclub;
c.. Anapolis Airport;
d.. Luziania Airport.
Supporting airports were included by realflight to increase reality and complexity to the region. In this package, the user will also receive a printed Boeing 737 Air Shuttle Operation Manual, by David Alencar, Commercial Pilot of the Air Shuttle and other national routes, and a book exploring the history of aviation in Brazil, bringing you information since the old times until the present, with the modernization of the airports by Infraero and the upraising of one of the world´s leader in regional jets productor, Embraer.
