Austrian Airforce Air Base Wiener Neustadt West LOXN. The Austrian Airforce Air Base Wiener Neustadt West (LOXN) near Vienna is the biggest and oldest grass airfield of Europe. It has 6 runways. It was build in 1909. After World War II it was used by Soviet Troops until 1955. MIG 15 Jets operated from LOXN. 1955 it was given back to Austria.
