YBHI BROKEN HILL AIRPORT SCENERY

INCLUDES

Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia, Broken Hill Base.

By Mike Hill, May 2003

This file contains
1/ Real life scenery of the airport, including the Royal Flying Doctor Base.
2/ The appropriate charts of the airport (in PDF format) in the documents folder.
3/ An AFCAD file called "YBHI1.txt" to allow AI traffic, plus adds gates in the appropriate spots. This is found in the documents folder. This is not mandatory. The scenery will work completely normal without this.
4/ necessary script lines to add AI traffic by using Traffic tools program. This is the file called "AI traffic ybhi.txt" in the documents folder. The scenery will work completely normal without this if you choose not to use it. If you do choose to use the AI traffic, I suggest you also download my rex_saab340bV2.zip file.
5/ Two Easter Eggs!! Try and find them!!!

----INSTALLATION----

To install the Broken Hill scenery to your addon scenery folder just double click the YBHIFS2002.exe icon. You will be prompted to change the destination directory if you do not have FS2002 installed in the default path.
This will automatically install the scenery, but you still have to activate it by doing the following.
1/ at the main start up screen, click the settings tab
2/ Select the scenery Library button
3/ Select 'add area'
4/ navigate to the addon scenery folder, double click it, then highlight the folder called YBHI, then click OK, then OK again to exit the scenery library.
5/ A new file will be created in the main FS directory called RFDS Documents. In it you will find the YBHI folder, with the appropriate charts, traffic tools file and AFCAD etc.
6/ (Optional) install the afcad file and AI traffic using TTools by Lee Swordy.

---ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS----

I would like to thank Ian Thatcher for providing the exclude bgl files that eliminated the auto gen airport buildings. I would also like to thank Brad Disher (www.aussim.com) for providing the files that stopped some nasty shimmering of the airfield taxiways.
