Repaint of default FSX Boeing 737-800 in Alaska Airlines Colors
by Bill Womack, using textures provided by Microsoft.

Thanks to the Microsoft Aces team for including a set of blank white textures in the base FSX install for many aircraft. As if there wasnt enough to love about the new default planes already, this move was a godsend for painters.

INSTALLATION
_______________________________________________________________________

To install this livery, simply do the following:

1) Unzip the files in this zip to your root \Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\B737_800 folder, preserving folder names. After unzipping, you should have a new subfolder called "texture.as" in that folder.
2) Open your B737_800 "aircraft.cfg" file. Cut and paste the text below into that file immediately below the last "[fltsim.x]" entry.
3) Renumber the [fltsim.x] entry you just pasted so that it contains the next number in sequence. For example, if the entry above the one you just pasted reads [fltsim.5], number the new entry [fltsim.6].

description="One should hardly be surprised that the world's most prolific manufacturer of commercial aircraft is also the producer of the world's most popular jetliner. The 737 became the best-selling commercial jetliner worldwide when orders for it hit 1,831 in June 1987 (surpassing Boeing's own 727 as the previous champ). However, it wasn't always that way\s in the first few years of production, there were so few orders that Boeing considered canceling the program. They didn't, and the airplane has more than proven itself in over three decades of service."

4) That's it! You should be ready to fly using the new livery.
