FS2002 Scenery

LANDMARKS OF THE GREATER SYDNEY AREA, NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA.

This scenery file includes an upgrade to the default FS2002 Sydney Region.

This scenery is FREEWARE.

Landmarks featured include:

Bahi Temple.bgl
-Hawksbury River, Brooklyn area freeway road bridge and railway bridge
-Palm Beach, Barrenjoey lighthouse
-Ryde roadway and railroad bridges
-Spit Bridge
-The three TV transmitter towers at Chatswood/Artarmon area
-Bahi Temple at Mona Vale.

Kogarah.bgl
-Captain Cook Bridge at Taren Point
-George's River Bridge at Sylvania
-Railway Bridge at Oatley/Como
-Trees along the Botany Bay foreshore
-Kyeemah Bridge next to Kingsford Smith International Terminal
(note that the default forshore and river near runway 16R is has been
rendered incorrect by Microsoft, and should be further north towards
the runway 7).

Coogee.bgl
- Final Approach to runway 25 over Coogee Beach and shopping centre.

BondiBeach.bgl
-Bondi region foreshore parks plus numerous high rise condos.

Manly.bgl
-Manly Beach foreshore parks plus numerous high rise condos.

Textures required but not included: Airport 2.10+ textures are required to be
installed in the main texture folder for this scenery to show correctly.

The macro depicting the Mona Vale Temple was created by Robert Waszkiewicz.


INSTALLATION

1. Unzip XXXXXXXX.zip to a temporary folder. Be sure to tick "use folder names".
This will create a folder called XXXXXXX. It will contain the scenery and
texture folders. Place this into your FS2002 scenery folder.

2. Start FS2002 and open the world/scenery library.
Click on "add area" and browse to you new XXXXXXXXX scenery folder.
Single click on the folder name and fill in the scenery area title box.
Call it whatever the like.
Click OK.
Close the scenery library dialog box by clicking on the "tick".
