Read SSSR V1\history\airship_history.html for brief historical background.

Due to MSFS2000 limitations, only auxiliary fuel tanks with 10 gallons of fuel are installed. Use "unlimited fuel", or add fuel to auxiliary fuel tanks using MSFS menu.

Take-off procedure:
1. Add 7 - 10 notches on elevator trimmer before take-off.
2. "Drop ballast" by pressing F8 key.
3. Apply 70 - 80 %% throttle.
4. Stop "dropping ballast" by pressing F5 key immediately after take-off.

Avoid climbing while "dropping ballast", because airship can not be controlled in this conditions.

Airship is very stable and can climb with full throttle with 15 degrees inclination. Airship ceiling is 3000 meters (10000 feets). Maximum airspeed is 110 kph (69 mph) at 2000 m (6700 feets).
