Paint kit for Project Opensky's Boeing 767-400.
Included is the necessary files for Paint Shop Pro needed to complete a repaint of the new 767-400 from
Project Opensky.

The files contain a blank livery plus the night time masks.

Also included is a set of replacement daytime bmp's for the 767 so that you might see what you have to
work with. Just copy and paste them into the texture file of any POS 767-400ER and overwrite when prompted.
( Be sure to back up originals first)

IMPORTANT:
Needless to say you will need to have Paint Shop Pro version five or higher installed in order to be able to use this files. It also goes with out saying that you will also need the 767-400ER from Project Opensky. Any paint
program that is able to convert psp files should also work ( I am assuming here.. :)

A trial version of paintshop pro can be obtained by visiting www.jasc.com.
I am not sure what features are limited in the trial version. ( currently ver 7.02)

Painting tips:

The files are current in 24 bit color. ( only way you can use multi-levels in the paint program). When reducing
the files to 8 bit for FS2K, if you want to get the best results be sure you have the settings in the reducing
options set to the following:

Optimized Median Cut: Checked
Error Diffusion: Checked
Reduce Color Bleeding: Checked

Night Mask:

The color used to provide the night time shading has a RGB value of: 25,25,49. I have found this color to be the
most realistic when it comes to night time effects for the repaints. When creating a new layer for the night effects, you must ensure that the blend mode of the layer is set at "Multiply" in the properties section of the layer. This will allow the layers below the night masking to show thru properly.

These files are a registered repaint with Project Opensky. Anyone is free to use them to repaint at will, howver
any repaints must then be registered at Project Opensky according to their repaint policy. Visit POS
