--Replacement night textures for FS2000--

These textures use the new extended bitmap format that Microsoft brought with the new release of flight simulator.Without this strange format the
simulator crashes with a terrain.dll error.
But you will face this disappointing crash again if you try to install
these textures and you have made:
a) TYPICAL INSTALLATION of the FS2000 or b)CUSTOM INSTALLATION without
the WORLD SCENERY running on the Hard Disc.
The best way to avoid any kind of strange behaviour of the FS2000 is to perform again a CUSTOM INSTALLATION with the WORLD SCENERY included to run of the Hard Disc or FULL INSTALLATION (the best performance)
Anyway I will describe every possible installation you may have.
Just read below and decide which is like yours to proceed.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Case 1)
So if you have:

Custom installation of FS2000 with World scenery in HD
or Full installation

Just locate the WORLD folder (there is in SCENEdb directory of the FS2000). Inside the WORLD folder there are two more sub directories: SCENERY and TEXTURE.
Extract the new night textures into TEXTURE directory of the WORLD folder.
Below I describe the possible path of this folder.

C:/Program files/Microsoft games/
/FS2000
...
...
Pilots
SCENEDB/WORLD/TEXTURE < extract the files inside here
Scenery

That's it!Run the FS2000 and check out the new night lighting.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Case 2)
If you have:

Custom installation of FS2000 without the World scenery in HD
or Typical installation

First you must copy the WORLD folder of the FS2000 CD2 into SCENEdb of
the FS2000 (it's approximately 250 MB). Below I describe where to put the new WORLD folder.

C:/Program files/Microsoft games/
/FS2000
...
...
Pilots
SCENEDB < copy the WORLD folder here
Scenery

Then run the FS2000 and under the World settings go to the Scenery Library. Hilight the World Scenery layer and click on Edit Area.
Inside the LOOK IN: set the path where the WORLD folder was just copied.
Finally check the box of the USE THIS SCENERY DIRECTLY.
Quit the FS2000 and follow the instructions for Case 1 above.
