"X4OX" Oxenhope private airstrip.
=================================
Oxenhope/Haworth

V1.0

This airfield sit's onto of a valley, overlooking the village's of Haworth & Oxenhope. Haworth home of the Bronte sisters famous for their novel's such as "Wuthering Heights". The is also a preserved steam railway that runs the length of the valley from Oxenhope, all the way down to Keighley (Keighley & Worth Valley Light Railway). The airstrip sits right next to a caravan park (Upwood) and offers a place to stay the night or camp. Beware the walls at each end of the runway. The emergancy services are over 7 mins away !!!

I made this scenery because i only live 5 mins away from it, and so i could use it for my own pleasure in flight sim. From my front window i watch aircraft coming in for landing, and if i cant do it for real, i can do it in the virtual skys. I have included some local landmarks in the scenery. At this moment Ovenden moor windfarm, The Wind genny at Gillsons quarry and the local TV transmitter mast. All of which are good visual aids. I welcome any comments and the contact details are bellow. Yo keep informed of updates and improvements as they happen contact me there, or visit http://data.forumhoster.com/forum_fsicarus/index.php an leave a message.

***Major Recomendation from the Autor***
==================================

This Scenery is designed and built to be used with Nanucq Faitmain's Mesh scenery of The UK. Having flown flight sims for 5 years, The UK has never really looked great, but With his mesh, it brings the UK to life. Its very acurate. Sadly there are a few little flaws, like "raised" lakes. But these faults are only minor when you look at the whole package.

We STRONGLY recomend you download it from www.SurClaro.com and install it today.

***Note for FS2004 Users***

You can still use this scenery in FS2004 the only problem is the Airport does not show when you go to choose airport, an dit does not show on GPS, BUT it is visible "In game". This is due to the software i used. A fix for this is soon to come, but untill then you can still enjoy the scenery by using the Saved flight provided. Simply drop it into you FS2004 Flights folder, Start the game and select a flight.

Instalation
-----------

If you have a previous version of this scenery you will need to remove it 1st from FS scenery folder, and your HD. Then you are good to install

1: Unzip file x4ox.zip, into a location of your choice

2: Copy the folder "X4OX - Oxenhope" and paste it into your Addon Scenery folder within The flight sim directory. OR Place the folder in a seperate location outside the FS directory.

3: Open flight sim, got to "scenery libery" then add area. Point to the folder "X4OX - Oxenhope" then click OK. the scenery wil then be added when you click OK to exit back to the FS main screen (FS2004 users will have to exit fs9 altogeather, an re-enter the sim to make it visable !!)

4: Fly!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I used Flight Simulator Scenery Creator to make the airfield, also Easy Object Designer to make the caravan's, stone wall
