DeHavilland DHC-3 TTC Super Otter Final Version
===============================================

This airplane is the exact copy of the conversion created
by (real world) Texas Turbine Conversions. This Otter has received a more powerfull
turbine for a much better performance.
The interior is custom designed and don't exist in real.
The paint and the registation number are fictional.

This package contains 2 versions of the Super Otter:
Super Otter Empty: This is the standart version with no additional loading.
Super Otter Loaded: This version is loaded to 95% (copilot, 8 passengers with their baggage and 2 boats).
The additional load is registered in the aircraft.cfg and the air-file for as real as
possible flying. The Otter is a little more difficult to fly in this version, especially
while landing the aircraft (nose high in the air...).
The passengers are only visible from the outside. From the inside the passengers looks realy
bad so i removed them from the interior views...

This is the final version of the Super Otter. There will be no further update or versions.
But it is not impossible that i will release an update for the new FS2004 if needed or/and possible...

Credits:
--------
Model, animation, cockpit, dynamic Virtuel cockpit e.t.c. all produced by myself.

The pilot model and texture are from NĂ©stor D'Angelo.
The Seat model are from Brian Gladden.
The Passengers model are from "looseKannon" Nicholas McColl (i changed them a little bit...).
Many thanks to them for their great work!

Most gauges are default FS2002pro gauges. But there are gauges created by
other persons. I don't know their names and adresses and hope i don't
hurt anyone...

Many thanks for the many received e-mails and the good and usefull hints/tips!!

Software used:
--------------
Abacus FSDS 2
FS Panel Studio
Aircraft Container Manager
Aircraft Airfile Manager

Installation and usage:
-----------------------
Unzip the files into a temp folder.
Copy the "Super Otter Empty" folder with the subfolders in your FS2002\aircraft folder.
Copy the "Super Otter Loaded" folder with the subfolders in your FS2002\aircraft folder.
Copy the gauges from the "gauge" folder in the FS2002\gauges folder.

This plane was tested with FS2002 Pro only and probaly only works correcly with this version.
I used a AMD1800 CPU and a Hercules Prophet 9700 Pro graphic card. I don't know if
the framerate is correct with a slower machine.
The joystick i used is not a force feedback so i can not set the forces correctly!

Corrected problems over the previous version (supotter.zip and supotud1.zip):
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The water rudder is functioning correctly now.
The animation problem with the propeller is corrected to 90%...(still not perfect but much better).

Changed and added things:
-------------------------
Second version (loaded) added to the package.
Opening front-left door.
New propeller design (other texture and corrected size).
Changed the antennas.
Redesigned panel with other/new gauges.
Added many details in the cockpit, little modifications to the interior textures.
Little modifications to the floater design and -textures.
Modified lighting (outside and inside).
Changed the steering angle of the front wheels.
changed the contact points.
Completly reworked the aircraft.cfg and air-file (over 100 hours of testing and fine-tuning...).
New sound (C208 amph. aliased).
I changed the number of fuel tanks from 3 to only 2 because i prefer an "X-feed" system and it
was impossible to find a gauge for such a system for 3 fuel tanks...

Known problems:
---------------
The only problem i have encountered is the lighting of the gauges in the dynamic virtual cockpit.
I can not change the color of the gauges. They are too bright.
I have read somewhere that this can only be changed with GMAx and not with FSDS Software...
