This single-layer AFCAD file is an FS2002 facility file for Old Sarum Airfield, England. It is designed for use with UK 2000 Part 2 scenery and adds ATC, taxiways and some aircraft parking spots in the correct places. The AFCAD file ID is EGLS1MV. The file should not be used with the default FS2K2 Old Sarum as the parking and taxy routes may be incorrectly placed. Also included is an optional flightplan - EGLSpln - which adds circuit traffic (FS2K2 Pro edition default aircraft) to the airfield.

Original Notes
~~~~~
This is my second attempt at using AFCAD. This file was produced at the request of Peter Browne, a pilot who flew microlights and motorgliders from Old Sarum and Popham. I've simply added a few parking spots and taxiways to Gary Summons' excellent airfield depiction. If you're able to write flight plans (unfortunately I'm not), using Lee Swordy's TTools you can add visiting AI traffic. If you just want to bring Old Sarum to life, I've enclosed a flight plan - EGLSpln - which will add GA circuit traffic. It is adapted from an excellent plan posted by 'Kilstorm' (see 'Kilstorm.txt'). If you use EGLSpln, I recommend changing the AC# aircraft numbers to suit your own GA aircraft. Remember to back up your originals of everything in case you want to revert. Any problems, I'll try to help - just email.
Gary Summons for his peerless UK scenery
Lee Swordy for his priceless FS AFCAD and Traffic Tools
Kilstorm for his 'instant circuit traffic'
Peter Browne for suggesting Old Sarum
Conditions of use
There ain't none - if you put it on a CD and make a fortune from it, good for you, and could you let me have your discarded Learjet when you move up to a BBJ ?
Disclaimer
Use at your own risk. These files won't run off with your wife and kids, nor should they harm your computer, but if you come home one day and find the house empty, or your PC starts eating grass, you've probably been spending too much time on Flightsim....
Hope you enjoy them.
