LFSN, LFEX, Pont Saint Vincent and LFEZ for FS2002. Décember 2002.
Didier BUR e-mail: bur@crai.archi.fr
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a completely new version of my former LFSN scenery for FS2002. (lfsn_2002zip)
Please take the time to read this, even if you have the previous version !

THANKS to the authors of EOD SCASM, BMP2000, AFCAD, LANDCLASS ASSISTANT.
THANKS to Didier MATT who took me for a flight over the town and the airport to take pictures. You can see him discussing with J-L Jeannesson of Bar-le-Duc in the ACE (Aero-Club de l'Est) hangar.
My son Nicolas is also standing in front of the terminal.

CONTENTS:
---------
The city of Nancy (East France) where I live, and its airport LFSN, airfield LFEZ (on top of the hill, near the big antenna), LFEX (several miles south of the town) and finally Pont Saint Vincent, a little airfield on top of a hill south west of the town.
Roads, main buildings, factories, power plant, people, smoke effects, fonctionning fuel area, and more...

Owners of previous version:
---------------------------
You MUST again edit their scenery.cfg file, because the flatten and exclude areas have been included in the BGL's (see below).

SOME IMPORTANT STUFF:
---------------------
- TEXTURES:
This scenery requires Nova and NovaGold textures (not included). If you don't have them installed on your system,
please download the complete pack on http://www.SurClaro for instance. Go to the main menu, click on "Must have files".

- DYNAMIC SCENERY:
Don't forget to set on dynamic scenery to see trucks moving.

-SEASONNAL CHANGES:
People are outside in spring and summer.
ACE hangar doors are closed in autumn and winter.
Beware of the snow on the parking in winter.

- REFUEL AND SERVICE PROCEDURE:
To refuel your plane, roll to the fuel area and park near the pump, your plane will be instantaneously refuelled, or park in the
center of the fuel area: the truck will come in front of your aircraft and will refuel it at a rate of 60 gallons per minute.
Park in front of the terminal and the foodtruck will come in front of your aircraft and will stay there for a while before it
will taxi back to its parking area.

FOLDERS:
--------
- pix folder: several pictures of real LFSN
- scenery folder: BGL scenery files, excepting lfsn_landclass.bgl
- texture folder: texture files, except Nova and NovaGold textures.

FILES:

INSTALLATION:
----------------------

Owners of previous version:
---------------------------
PLEASE UNINSTALL PREVIOUS VERSION IF PRESENT !!!!

VERY IMPORTANT: If you choose to install V2 at the same location than V1, open your "scenery.cfg" file in a text editor, delete the flatten and exclude lines. Save and Exit.
If you choose to install V2 in another folder than V1, PLEASE UNINSTALL PREVIOUS VERSION AND REMOVE THE AREA IN THE SCENERY LIBRARY !!!!

0. Unzip the Zip file in a temporary folder.
1. Run the exe file (it is virus free and doesn't modify anything on your system).
2. Choose a location for this new scenery and follow the install program.
3. Start FS2K2 and declare the scenery in the FS2K2 scenery library.
4. Owners of my LFJL scenery (Metz-Nancy-Lorraine): please move the lfjl_stat-dyn.bgl file to your LFJL/scenery folder and delete the previous stat-dyn.bgl file, otherwise both LFJL and LFSN dynamic sceneries won't work.
5. Move the lfsn_landclass.bgl file to your main scenery folder. If you don't like it, you can delete it without harming the scenery.
6. Move the lfsn_smoke_1.fx and lfsn_smoke_2.fx files to your EFFECTS folder of FS.
7. Start Afcad, choose "File / Import Airport". Browse your disk where you installed LFSN and select "lfsn_adcad.txt". Save and exit.
If you don't do that, there will be no traffic or planes taxiing in the grass ;(
8. Restart FS, and fly !

UNINSTALLATION:
-------------------------

You can use the uninstall program that was created in the main folder of the scenery as you installed it, or just delete all the files manually.

NAVAIDS:
--------
NBE NE: 319.0
ATIS LFSN: 121.40
ILS LFSN: 108.50, Hdg 30
