FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2002 LOCKHEED/MARTIN F-16C FIGHTING FALCON Block 30 VERSION 1

Thank you for downloading this project. It is my first release for Flightsim2002. This is the first version of a long line
of F-16 variants to come. Each variant will have vast differences, not just simple texture repaints.
Anyone who is willing to create repaints and flightmodels are free and encouraged to do so. This aircraft is very easy for repainters.

INSTALLATION
Simply unzip the main aircraft folder into FS2k2's aircraft directory. Unzip gauges folder and place gauges into FS2k2's gauges folder.

TIPS FOR FLYING:
The aircraft is fairly easy to fly. Currently, there is only a 3D cockpit, although I am attempting to get a 2D pit developed. If you would like to add a 2D pit, simply go into the aircrafts' current panel.cfg, and copy out all of the virtual cockpit information, and copy it into the 2D pits' panel.cfg.

Takeoff speeds at full weight is about 160 knots, 10 degrees nose up. It will be a good idea to raise and lower the gear and flaps simultaneously.

Landing speeds are around 145-170 knots. Flying the landing profile with speed brakes open will give better control over speed and power.

KNOWN ISSUES:
Gauge displaying- The gauges don't update nearly enough to be truly useful. In subsequent versions, I will try to correct this.
If you have any ideas, please e-mail me.

Flightmodel- Not nearly as realistic as I'd like it. If you have any ideas for improving, or create one of your own, feel free
to release it... and please e-mail me about it, cause I'd love to try it out also.

Night Pit textures- Haven't made any yet. Should I? If you think so, please e-mail me.

Taxi model- the aircraft doesn't taxi that well. You really must watch power and anticipate the turning velocity. Hopefully, I will be able to correct this. (ideas? e-mail me!)

FUTURE:
Alot of versions from many different countries will be released, along with SkinPacks and tail art created by Justin Lamb
