Endeavour (OV-105) After the explosion and loss of the space shuttle Challenger, shortly after lift-off on January 28, 1986, authorization to construct the fifth orbiter as a replacement for Challenger was granted by Congress on August 1, 1987. Endeavour first arrived at KSC's Shuttle Landing Facility May 7,1991, atop NASA's new Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (NASA 911). Its first launch was for shuttle mission STS-49, on May 7, 1992. Endeavour flew to Mir on the STS-89 mission. Endeavour is named after the first ship commanded by 18th century British explorer James Cook. On its maiden voyage in 1788, Cook sailed into the South Pacific and around Tahiti to observe the passage of Venus between the Earth and the Sun. During another leg of the journey, Cook discovered New Zealand, surveyed Australia and navigated the Great Barrier Reef.
Instalation of this file is simple ater you have un-zipped it
just drop the contents of the aircraft folder in to your FS2002 Aircraft folder and the contents of the gauges folder into your FS2002 gauges folder you are now ready to explore the upper atmosphere in one of 3 Space Shuttle models

the shuttle on its own- portrays the re-entry and landing shuttle
this can fly and land, be carefull though it is very easy to loose controll of!
the shuttle with the tank- portrays the last 6 mins of its ascent to orbit
the shuttle with the tank and SRB's- portrays the first 2 mins of its ascent to orbit
these two have the same flight model and are purley designed to go up!!
do not atempt to land them you will crash.
i would turn off the aircraft stress causes damage as the sppeds you are at it is very easy to overstress your aircraft.
this aircraft has no reverse thrust so as soon as you hit the runway turn off the engines to make it stop quicker
