Copenhagen, Denmark - v1.1 (2002-06-01)
Models and textures by Lars Moellebjerg

This is designed to have minimal impact on
framerate and memory use. Both the models
and the textures are very simple for this
reason, so do not expect to find the correct
doors etc on the buildings.
Please check:

to see if a newer version of the scenery is
avaiable.

____________
Installation
This package is designed for Flight Simulator
2002. It is (of course) not known if it will
work in newer versions of Flight Simulator.

Update from version 1.0:
Shut down Flight Simulator, then unpack
the content of the "Copenhagen" directory to
the directory you have the previous version
installed, overriding all files.

New install:
Unpack the "Copenhagen" directory to
a directory of your choice. From the main menu
of Flight Simulator choose "Settings", then
"Scenery Library...". Press "Add Area..." and
select the "Copenhagen" directory. You can
rename the directory if you want, but the
"Scenery" and "Texture" directory names can't
be changed.

Notice: I previously released "Rundetaarn"
independently - If you installed it you should
removed it from the scenery list in FS before
installing this scenery. After removing it
from FS you can delete the directory it
was stored in. Hopefully new updates will just
be done by adding files to the "Copenhagen"
directory.

____________
Distribution
This package can be distributed freely as it
is. If you want to make changes or include it
in another package, please contact me
(larsm@xs4all.nl).

___________
Suggestions
If you have suggestions or constructive
comments, you can try to mail me on
(larsm@xs4all.nl). Please notice that
request to do specific buildings are useless
unless you include a reference to where I can
find good pictures of the building (consider
if all sides are available - at least enough
that the remaining can be done by repeating
or mirroring the existing pictures). A
reference to a groundplan or other details
concerning the scale is really usefull as
well.

Details on the buildings

The following gives some details about the
buildings included - first of all so I have
a place to keep my notes I need when
exporting the 3D models. :)

Rundetaarn:
Position: N55* 40.92 E12* 34.62
Image complexity: Sparse
Visibil distance: 10km.
Modeling tool: GMax
Rundetaarn: http://www.rundetaarn.dk
Model heading: 40

Christansborg (main building):
Position: N55* 40.55 E12* 34.74
Image complecity: Sparse
Visibility distance: 10km.
Modeling tool: Gmax
Model heading: 240
Note: Due to lack of good groundplans the
model is likely to be slightly off scale.

Amalienborg
Position: N55* 41.31 E12* 35.66
Image Complexity:
Main buildings and square: Sparse
Extra detail: Complex
Visibility Distance:
Main buildings and square: 14km
Extra detail: 7km
Modeling tool: GMax
Model heading: 325
Note: Should be positioned on N55* 41.05
E12* 35.58 but this would leave half of the
square in the water with the default scenery.
Unused texture space intended to include
the gardens at a later stage.
