1. DESCRIPTION OF THE ADVENTURE
This is a shareware version that terminate the adventure after a while.
If you are interested to get the non terminating version for only $7
please go to my website at: http://user.cs.tu-berlin.de/~noah/flight and look
for the paypal icon where you can pay with your credit card. If you don't
want to pay with credit card sent an e-mail to noah@cs.tu-berlin.de for
billing advise.

This adventure is primary developed to work with FS2002. There might me
conflict with key occupation in later FS versions. If you find any problem
that this adventure cause with FS2002 please report to
noah@cs.tu-berlin.de.

This adventure supports two new functionalities that are not included in
the current version of flight simulator.
A. This adventure is changing the weather dynamically while you are flying
or just staying at the airport. It calculate the weather depending from
the season, the time and also the area you are. For example there are some
nice weather area implemented that getting activated if you are flying
over special locations. In the morning the chance of fog is higher than
during the day.

B .The adventure also support a very new kind of sounds: flight attendant voice
to advise the passengers to fasten seat belt, when you prepare for landing or take off.
There is also fasten seat belt sound, when the plane gets into turbulence.
These sounds are included in this basic pack of the adventure. But there
are a lot more sounds, like captains voice to welcome the passengers after
take off, a flight attendant explaining what to do in emergency, while the plane
is driving to the runway, new messages from the tower and much more.

2. THE INSTALLATION
The installation is very easy. Just execute the DSWsetup.exe program. The program will ask you for the directory, where your flight simulator program is located. If the default
directory doesn’t match with your current FS2000 or FS2002 directory, please change that.
After the installation run the adventure as described below.

ATTENTION
If you are using an older version of "FSUIPC.DLL" that you might installed previously the adventure will not run properly.
You can easily test this by activating the adventure as discibted below. If the adventure terminates right the way with an error massage :"Adventure corrupted" you have an older
Version of "FSUIPC.DLL".

How to install the new version of "FSUIPC.DLL"?
Very easy: Just go into your FS2000/Modules or FS2002/Modules directory and delete
the file "FSUIPC.DLL". Afterward just run again the DSWSetup.exe of this adventure.

3. HOW TO START
The best way to start with this adventure is to park the airplane at a terminal
at any airport. Be sure that the park breaks are set. Now start the adventure. FS2002
user click on the "Flights / Select a flight..." and choose from "1.choose a
category" the option "Flight Simulator 2000 adventures".In the second
Menue "2. Choose a flight" should appear the "Crew on board & dynamic weather" adventure.
Klick on it and press OK.
IF you are using the Fs2000 click "select flights / adventures". In the tab "Skill
level" choose "other". You should see now the "Crew on board & dynamic weather" adventure
to select.

Wait a moment until the adventure is loaded and the variables are set.
IF you want to hear passangers entering the plane, press SHIFT-x. For now this sound
is only in german available.
Turning the park breaks off and start moving the plane you should hear the
captains voice requesting to leave the gate.
Drive slowly to the runway and a flight attendant gives instructions to the
passengers where to find the emergency exits and to fasten seat belt.

Arriving at the runway, make a short stop until you hear clearance for
take off.

While you are in flight you might get in some turbulence. You will hear
the fasten seat belt sign and a flight attendant. You can try to get out
of the turbulence by changing the altitude.

There might also different meals served by flight attnendants during the
flight and as user of the full version, there are different movies shown
on long distance flight.

Whenever you are getting prepared for landing, the adventure will recognize
that and activate any sound like fasten seat belt and flight attendant
that announce that you are getting to prepare for landing.

4. HOW WORKS THE WEATHER
If you start the adventure, the first thing it is doing is to create a new
weather, including, visibility, temperature, clouds, rain or snow.
From this initial condition it start to change parameters slowy. Small
thunderstorms might appear, growing until it finally start raining or snowing.
There can be fog. Mostly in the morning hours and in the winter or autumn. While
flying you might get into turbulence and if the turbulence staying longer after
a short time you will hear the fast seat belt sound. Try to get out of the
turbulence by changing the altitude. There are some nice-waether areas. These
areas are in Italy, Coast of Spain, Nevada, Caribbean and Tahiti. In the
default setting there are two cloud layer active. For slower computers press
SHIFT+C to change to one cloud layer only.

If you are interested about the backround calculation of the adventutre, you
can activate the information-mode by pressing the d-key for basic information
or the more information mode by pressing the shift+d key.

5. HOW TO CONTROL THE ADVENTURE
These are all controls that are supported by this adventure:

SHIFT+A
Enable/disable manual sound. Once manual sound enabled all flight attendant
and captain announcements won't played automatic anymore. Instead you are able
to direct the performance of the all announcements. In the manual sound mode the
adventure will distinguish between three flight situations (on departure, in flight,
after landing) and provide different sets of announcements as described in the manual
sound table (view manual_sound.txt) to each situation. You can return to the
automatic sound mode every time by pressing "SHIFT+A".

SHIFT+K
If you are landing at the airport and your VOR1 is receiving the airport signal
GPWS (GROUND PROXIMITY WARNING SYSTM) is turning on to support you with landing
information, like "500, 400, 300, 200, 100". If you don't want to hear that, just
turn it off or on by pressing "1" key.

SHIFT+G
If you you don't like to hear screaming passengers if you fly like crazy you can turn
it off (or on) by pressing the "2" key.

SHIFT+X
Before you start your flight you might want to hear passangers entering the planne.
This sound is only in german language available. You need to press this button if
you want to hear the captains delay announcement a while after the passangers are boarded.

SHIFT+L
Using light airplanes (like learjets) than heavy airplanes (like Boing) turbulences you will experience might be to strong for your flight skills. To avoid to strong turbulences
you can switch between different air plane modes.

CTRL+R
If you don't like the Rain or Snow feature in your adventure you can disabled it here.

SHIFT+I
Resets the adventures as it does it if you start the
adventure. This command is first checking where your plane is
located. In flight or on ground and reset the variables for the
current situation. Use this option, if you feel the adventure is
somehow acting strange.

SHIFT+U
If you don't want a dynamic weather generation that is
changing during your flight, turn it off or on here. That might be
useful, if you want to use real weather that comes with FS2002

SHIFT+W
Your cloud formation will change during the flight. If you
want to turn dynamic clouds off (or on) but keeping all the other
dynamic weather features, use this option.

SHIFT+F
The visibility will change during the flight. If you want to
turn dynamic fog off (or on) but keeping all the other dynamic
weather features, use this option.

SHIFT+N
Flying over some areas will activate the nice weather modus.
That usually happen in the dessert or other specified places, If you
want to force to activate or deactivate the nice weather manually
use this option.

SHIFT+C
On default the adventure generate two cloud layers
dynamically. To increase the performance of the frame rate you can
with to one cloud layer only.

SHIFT+T
From time to time thunderstorm will be generated by the adventure.
If you don't want to wait, press this button and they will come right
the way. But be patient, they will not be right there but grow slowly.

CTRL+T
From time to time you might get into cloud turbulence. If you want
to turn them off, because for non experienced flight sim user or the
landing is too difficult, use this option.

V To set high visibility.

SHIFT+V
To set medium visibility.

CTRL+V
To set low visibility.

D Usually the adventure is very quite in the back ground. If you want
to know what it is doing use this option and it will explain every
action it is doing in a scroll bar that appear as text in the
window.

SHIFT+D
If the information that comes with "D" are not enough, use
this option to turn extended information on and off. It might bother
you after a while. This option also plays a short signal to
validate, that the adventure is still playing the sounds files. The
older FS versions just stopped playing the sounds after a while for
some not known reason. You can validate that here,
