Unzip the contents of this zip into a temporary directory. You don't need the file_id.diz file -- that's the description of this download that you read online. You may delete the file if you like.

The folder texture.1 that you unzipped will need to go into your fs2002/aircraft/b777_300 folder. But before you do that, backup the original texture.1 folder. Having done that, you need to edit a few lines in the aircraft.cfg file within the b777_300 folder. Texture.1 by default is for landmark airlines, and the aircraft.cfg file contains entries to that effect. Open up aircraft.cfg using notepad and navigate to the heading [fltsim.1]. Below this heading are a number of entries that you will need to alter. Check below to see exactly what changes to make:

[fltsim.1]
title=Boeing 777-300 Paint 1
sim=Boeing 777-300
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=1
kb_checklists=Boeing777-300_check
kb_reference=Boeing777-300_ref
atc_id=9V-SYE
atc_airline=Singapore
atc_flight_number=224
atc_heavy=1
ui_manufacturer=Boeing
ui_type=777-300
ui_variation=Singapore Airlines
visual_damage=1
description=On the outside, it may resemble the jetliners you've seen for years. Inside, however, it's a whole new bird. The newest plane in the long and proud Boeing family line is the 777, commonly referred to as the "Triple Seven." This long-range, fuel-efficient twinjet was first delivered in May 1995 to fill a gap in the market between the 747 and 767. It is capable of seating 368 to 386 passengers.

Note that if you do not want to replace landmark airlines or any other default airline, but want to add this and other textures to the collection, then rename the folder texture.1 as texture.3,4, or 5 depending on the number of textures you already have, and make similar changes to the aircraft.cfg file. You will need to create additional entries with aircraft.cfg in the format shown above -- starting with the heading and ending with the description -- and alter the entries asigned with:

fltsim.(assign your texture number here)
title: Boeing 777-300 Paint (assign your texture number here)
texture= (assign your texture number here)
atc_id= (assign your desired id here)
atc_airline = ( this entry is used up by ATC as airline callsigns -- ATC may not ( verbally respond to some entries made here because it may not (recognize it.)
atc_flight_number= (assign your choice of a flight number here)
ui_type= 777-300 ( this entry is used up by atc again to acknowledge your airplane ( type)
ui_variation= (assign your airline name here -- entries made here only affect the ( description shown with variation on the select-aircraft window)
