USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) scenery for Flight Simulator 2000

by Javier Fernandez (jafergon@wanadoo.es)

The Stennis is located in the Pacific Ocean, near California. Situation file(CVN-74) and Initial Position are included, so the carrier will appear in the airports menu. It is called "Stennis". The exact co-ordinates for CVN-74 are N34* 58.37 , W123* 6.55. You can use your ADF tuned to a frequency of 411 KHz to home in on the carrier.

INSTALLATION:

Extract this archive to the "scenedb" folder of Flightsim 2000. A folder called "Stennis" will be created with subfolders containing the proper files.

Next, go into the flight sim, and click on "World" from the menu bar, then click on "Scenery Files" and that will bring up a window listing all the scenery that is installed on your sim. On the righthand of this window, click on "ADD" and a different window will pop up. In the new window, browse to the "FS2000/scenedb/Stennis" and then at the bottom of that window you need to name the scenery. Click on "SAVE" and that should produce a new entry into the scenery database with a green "X" next to it. Copy CVN-74.flt to the "Pilots" folder.
