FS2004 Boeing 221A Monomail
The 221A Monomail was a major advance in aircraft design, being one of the first all metal, stressed skin monoplanes built. Despite it's advances the 221A'a layout harked back to the biplane era, with the cabin forward, and open cockpit aft. Lack of a constant speed propeller prevented the Monomail's true success, as better twins were introduced by the time C-S props appeared. Only one 221A saw brief service between Chicago-Cheyenne.

Installation:
1)After downloading the zip, locate it, and extract the file to a temp folder.
2)Copy Folder 221A to your FS2004 Aircraft Folder
3)Everything should be in the right place and subfolder.
4) Copy the gauges into your FS2004 Gauges Folder. You may already have some of them, so you don't have to overwrite or reload them. Choice is yours. See NOTAMS below!
5)Copy the vc light effect file to your Sim's Effects Folder
5) If you have any problems, look at the Folder of a plane you know that works in your Sim. See how it is made and arranged.
6) Double check everything before e-mailing me! 99% of problems can be solved this way:-) Since you are reading this, you are way ahead of the dimwits who don't read readme files!:-p

BEFORE YOU FLY!.......

Copy the GaugeSound.dll file into your FS Main Folder. Easygauge 2.0, what I used to make gau's, says this file is needed. If you already have one of my later planes, you most likely have this file already installed.
SIM WILL CRASH IF NOT INSTALLED!

NOTAMS:
The real 221A did not have a constant speed prop, so I added one to make my FS plane more useful. I kind of "bumped up" the technology by a couple of years, so to speak:-)
SHF e key opens the cabin door
SHF e 2 key opens the mail hatches.
No, I did not forget flaps, the 221A never had any.
The panels use some of the default DC-3 .cab gauges. Copy these .cab files from the DC-3 folder over to your FS's gauges folder. This should prevent any gauges from not showing up.

Enjoy!
This model was built to the best of my skills, knowledge, and simply to my own tastes and standards.
If something is "missing", or "wrong", oh well, you got it for a good price:-) For a one-man shop, I think I do pretty well:-p

As for repaints, new versions, etc. I have no idea if, when, or what. So please, no "placing orders".
These files shouldn't harm your computer, but I accept no responsability for their use and effect.
Play with it,do repaints, give to friends or enemies(SEE BELOW), but do not make money off of it without my express approval. This also goes for any other peoples' files in this release.

Also,if you want to re-post the plane, or its repaints, on your site, or another site, please ask me first:) I usually say yes, unless my plane been too corrupted or hacked by you or others.

I only upload to SurClaro, and Sim-Outhouse.com., and sometimes SurClaro.com If you find one of my planes anywhere else, I cannot guarantee its integrity. Whoever re-posted the plane might be better able to help you if you have any trouble, if he did any mods and left an e-mail addy
I have nothing against other sites, I just want to keep things simple, and easy to track.
Good Luck, and have Fun!
