This is my rework of Jon Gunnar Wolds' original CFS2 TBD Devastator panel. I think it adds a little something more to the artwork as well as more authentic gauges and their placements.

Feel free to remove the antennae from the panel bitmap if it bugs you. That's where it was in the real aircraft though. It's not so bad once you get used to it. This plane also had a unique scope that protrudes through the windshield, that's what the odd looking eyepiece thing on the bitmap is. You can also raise or lower the panel for more or less visibility by changing the SIZE_Y number in the panel.cfg file under the heading [Default View] near the bottom.

CREDIT goes first to Jon Gunnar Wold, the original author of this TBD Devastator panel Bitmap and panel CFG.
Thanks to him for caring for this good old plane enough so as to make the original panel. Credit goes secondly to Dan Griffin for his "Ki-61dg" panel. Nice window panes. Credit also goes to a few gauge providers. Namely the Vintage gauges[Paul Clawson-"Curtiss SOC-3 Seagull"], the Viscount gauge[Diego S. Barreto-"Vickers Viscount"], the B-26 compass gauge[Jay McDaniel-"B-17"], the WWII Autopilot window gauge[Ickie Berleim-PBY panel], and the MP3/radio gauge[R.L. Clark], all freeware. The rest are stock CFS2 gauges. Airfile by Adam Warren, update by Bob Bongiovanni.

To install the panel, just drop or copy the gauges into your flight sim gauges folder. If the airplane isn't flyable, Put the tbd1_devastator.air file in the folder of the airplane. The rest of the contents go into the panel folder of the airplane.

For a good TBD Devastator airplane, I recommend first, 1US_TBD-1.zip or secondly, tbd1navy.zip [with their .air files & this panel of course] until there are better ones made available.

It's an honor to make a panel for the great TBD Devastator plane and to be a part of keeping this nice old plane and those that flew it from being forgotten.
