FS2004 North American T-28D Raven

Piston Engined US Training Aircraft. Used by US Air Force 1950-56, Later til '59 with Air National Guard Units. Armed D models were rebuilt from A models and fitted with larger 1425 HP Wright 1820 engines, armor, gunpods, weapon pylons, and speedbrake. Saw service in Southeast Asia, and in French North Africa, as the F model "Fennec"

Installation:
1)After downloading the zip, locate it, and extract the file to a temp folder.
2)Copy Folder T-28D_FS to your FS2004 Aircraft Folder
3)Everything should be in the right place and subfolder.
4)If present, copy any gauges into your FS2004 Gauges Folder. You may already have some of them, so you don't have to overwrite or reload them. Choice is yours.
5) Do the same as 4) for any other effects, sound, etc folder/files.
6) If you have any problems, look at the Folder of a plane you know that works in your Sim. See how it is made and arranged.

BEFORE YOU FLY!.......

Copy the GaugeSound.dll file into your FS Main Folder. Easygauge 2.0, what I used to make gau's, says this file is needed. If you already have one of my later planes, you most likely have this file already installed.
SIM WILL CRASH IF NOT INSTALLED!

Copy all the textures EXCEPT t28d_01 from texture folder over to texture.sea folder. I did this to save on download size.

NOTAMS:
Notes on Quick-change insignias.
The real T-28D's had a frame on the fuselage sides to hold different insignia placards. Though they mostly flew unmarked. In the texture file, you will see four tex's:
t28d_insignia
t28d_usaf
t28d_rlaf
t28d_pigaf
Whichever tex is named t28d_insignia is the tex that will show up in FS2004. Default tex is blank.
If you want USAF insignia, for example, re-name the existing t28d_insignia to something else, anything will do. Then re-name the t28d_usaf tex to t28d_insignia. The USAF marking will now show up in FS2004.
Any custom 128 x 128 32 bit tex will work, if re-named properly. So if you ever wanted your own airforce....
When flying with the USAF S.E.A. camo, it's best to leave the default blank insignia, as the camo version has its own markings.

Enjoy!
This aircraft was built to the best of my skills, knowledge, and simply to my own tastes and standards. I don't mind constructive comments, or how-to's, but "This Sucks!" type e-mails will be ignored. As for repaints, new versions, etc. I have no idea if, when, or what. So please, no "placing orders".
These files shouldn't harm your computer, but I accept no responsability for their use and effect.
Play with it,do repaints, give to friends or enemies(see below), but do not make money off of it without my express approval. This also goes for any other peoples' files in this release.

Also,if you want to re-post the plane, or its repaints, on your site, or another site, please ask me first:) I usually say yes, unless my plane been too corrupted or hacked by you or others. MAKE SURE YOU READ AND ABIDE BY THIS, !!!

I only upload to SurClaro, and Sim-Outhouse.com., and sometimes SurClaro.com If you find one of my planes anywhere else, I cannot guarantee its integrity. Whoever re-posted the plane might be better able to help you if you have any trouble, if he did any mods and left an e=mail addy
I have nothing against other sites (except those who don't ask first), I just want to keep things simple, and easy to track.
Good Luck, and have Fun!
