ABOUT THE AIRPORT AND SCENERY:

Telluride Regional Airport(KTEX) serves Telluride and San Miguel County and is owned by Telluride Regional Airport Authority. The paved runway extends for 6870 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 9078 feet at a distance of about 5 miles from Telluride. Created with FSDS2, ASDv2.1, Nova and Nova Gold Textures are required. Traffic Tools and AFCAD2 are also required. Telluride Regional Airport is North America's highest commercial airport at 9078 feet above sea level. This is actually version 2. I did version for FS2002, but I did not release it. I was not satisfied with how it turned out. Hopefully, you will enjoy this version.

INSTALLATION:

By now you should have unzipped the file ktex_v2.zip and hopefully, you are reading this readme file.

If you do not have Lee Swordy's Traffic Tools nor his AFCAD2, go to SurClaro and download it from there. Also, If you do not have the texture files you need (See above) you can download them from SurClaro from the Must Have Files under FS2004.

Read the readme file and tutorials and install them on your system.

Now, un-zip then file ktex_scen.zip to the drive where your FS is located. If the un-zip program prompts you on whether to create the folders or not, click yes to all.

When the un-zip process is finished, you can check to make sure the files are in the proper folder.

You should have the ktex_*.bgl files in fs2k4_scenery\KTEX\scenery
The AF2_KTEX.bgl file should bi in FS2004(or whatever your main FS folder's name is)\Addon Scenery\scenery
TrafficTelluride.bgl should be in FS2004(or main FS folder)\Scenery\World\scenery
CO - Telluride REgional.FLT and .WX should be in C:\my documents\Flight Simulator Files
ktex_reg.bmp and the sign_*.bmp files should be in FS2004(main FS folder)\texture

Now start FS and select Settings then scenery library. Click add area. Locate fs2k4_scenery and under that KTEX. Open and then click OK. Now close FS. Open FS again and this time click on Select a Flight. File CO - Telluride Regional, hightlight and click Fly Now.

Happy flying!
