FS2004 Northrop N-9MB Flying Wing Aircraft
Four N-9M series flying wing aircraft were built as 1/3 scale test"models" for the XB-35 Bomber Program. The N-9MB was the last of the four built, and the only one with Franklin engines. Used to test the flight controls and systems being designed for the XB-35 Flying Wing Bomber. Simply made of wood, metal tubing, and some metal skinning, the N-9M's presented the look of tomorrow in the mid 40's. Since the N-9's were considered research tools, they never received serial numbers or X-Plane designations. The N-9MB was recently restored to flying status by the Planes of Fame Museum in Chino, Calif.

Installation:
Extract the N-9MB zip file into a temp folder. On my computer, I have a folder labeled INCOMING_PLANES. I unzip all my downloads to this folder first.
Go to your FS9 aircraft folder, and make a new folder. Label it N-9MB
Open your temp folder, find and copy the N-9MB files into the new folder you just made . Look inside the N-9MB folder for any gauges or other needed files.

Copy the gauges into your Sim's Gauges Folder. You may already have some of them, so you don't have to overwrite or reload them. Choice is yours.

Copy the GaugeSound.dll file into your FS Main Folder. Easygauge 2.0, what I used to make gau's, says this file is needed. If you already have one of my later planes, you most likely have this file already installed.
SIM WILL CRASH IF NOT INSTALLED!

Copy the fx_vclight_yellow file to your sim's effects folder. Like the gauges, you may already have this file installed.

NOTAMS:
During level flight, with controls neutral, the split drag rudders will be cracked open a bit. This is normal. Even the B-2 Stealth Bomber will have it's drag rudders open a bit, when in non-stealth mode.
Since the N-9M's were designed as research tools, they don't make the best IFR cross-country touring planes. Their simple, functional purpose is reflected in the simple panel and avionics. OK, so I did leave in the GPS:-)

If you fly the in FS2002, you may want to install the FS2002 GPS into the panel.cfg file, replacing the FS2004 GPS entry. But keep in mind, this plane was not tested in FS2002

Enjoy!
This aircraft was built to the best of my skills and knowledge. I don't mind constructive comments, or how-to's, but "This Sucks!" type e-mails will be ignored. As for repaints, new versions, etc. I have no idea if, when, or what. So please, no "placing orders".
These files shouldn't harm your computer, but I accept no responsability for their use and effect.
Play with it,do repaints, give to friends or enemies, but do not make money off of it without my express approval. This also goes for any other peoples' files in this release.

Also,if you want to re-post on your site, or another site, please ask me first:) I usually say yes, unless my plane been too corrupted or hacked by you or others.

I only upload to SurClaro, and Sim-Outhouse.com. If you find one of my planes anywhere else, I cannot guarantee its integrity. Whoever re-posted the plane might be better able to help you if you have any trouble, if he did any mods and left an e=mail addy
I have nothing against other sites, I just want to keep things simple, and easy to track.
Good Luck, and have Fun!
