Schiphol's 5th main runway "Polderbaan" 36L-18R Addon
This scenery add the new 5th main runway at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam.
The runway is named "Polderbaan" and lays parallel to excisting
Zwanenburgbaan (01L-19R).
Originally the new runway would have been designated 18-36, but cause of
safety all three North-south runways will be renamed on feb 20th 2003:
18-36 -> 18R-36L
01L-19R -> 18C-36C
01R-19L -> 18L-36R
TIMELINE:
=========
28 nov 2002 Runway 18R-36L fully ready for use, cause of regulation will
not be used.
20 feb 2003 The three North-South runways will be renamed, 18R-36L will be
used ONLY for night flights, in daytime 18C-36C (old 01L-19R)
will be used.
1 jun 2003 Second control-tower ready, 18R-36L will be used in daytime.
jun-oct 2003 Runway 18C-36C out of service cause of maintance/resurfacing
oct/nov 2003 Runway 18C-36C together with 18R-36 fully operational.
RUNWAY DATA:

36L 3800 x 60 meters
18R 3530 x 60 meters (displaced threshold 270 meters)
18R ILS VPB 110.10 Mhz (OBS 187, note differs from realworld due to FS2002 magnetic variation)
18R PAPI L
Runway and taxiways are designed that only 36L will be used for departing
traffic and 18R only for landing traffic.

INSTALLATION:

FS2004:
0. If you have installed a previous version of my scenery remove this one first
1a. Unzip these files to a temporary subdirectory and...
1b. create a new scenery folder/dir with the subfolders "scenery" & "texture"
2. copy *.bgl to ..\new\scenery
3. copy *.bmp to ..\new\texture
4. add this new scenery folder in the scenery libary.
(If you don't know how to do that please refer to the help-files of FS2004.)
Note: this scenery must be layered above any Dutch or European scenery to make
the exclude file work.
