Kittyhawk Studios Boeing 737-800 AirTran

The folder contains a repaint of Kittyhawk Studios Boeing 737-800 in AirTran colours. AirTran have 60 Boeing 737 NG on firm order of which at least 10 are scheduled to be 800 models. The aircraft is modelled in their revised livery and should enter service in 2005. It is a repaint of the excellent "Kittyhawk Studios" model with 32 bit (no mips) main fuselage and tail textures, and DXT3 frame rate friendly textures for the remainder. The model is complete with default panel and sound files. Special thanks to Erick Cantu and Kittyhawk Studios whose model and paint kit form the basis for the repaint.
Included is:
N176AT: Fictional serial as the Series 800 aircraft has still to enter service with AirTran.
The aircraft is a complete package and includes all necessary files. The package is configured to use the default B737-400 panel and sound. To get the best out of this excellent model it is recommended that you download and use a realistic 737 NG panel and also a suitable sound package of which there are several available on this site.
The fuselage and tail textures of the model are 32 bit with Alpha but with no mips for better quality, whilst the remaining textures are DXT3 for quicker load time. They are in the main hand painted. Please note that these textures are not for commercial sale and also are not affiliated with or endorsed by AirTran Airways.
Installation
-------------
After unzipping the downloaded file then "copy and paste" or "drag and drop" the "Kittyhawk 738 AirTran" folder from the unzipped file to the Microsoft Games\FS9\Aircraft folder. The aircraft will appear under the "Boeing 737-800" entry in the FS2004 index. The files in the "Effects" folder should be copied to the Microsoft Games\FS9\Effects folder".
