qb08_ff3, Québec Bush Scenery = Kanawata Fire Tower
This scenery is located halfway between La Tuque airport and Parent Airport. Both are important bush airports. It is a fictitious field with a fire tower and nice candies including Northern Lights.
It is part of my Québec Bush scenery where I am linking a few airfields close together. This should make 'VFR hopping' more fun.
Those who criticize my fictious fields should bear in mind that still today, for the bush pilot, often an airstrip is just about anywhere one can settle a plane down and take-off. When choosing a field, I keep it bumpy with the grass as is, tall or not. It adds to realism and I love the challenge should it be hard to get in and out.

This scenery was made to be used (preferably) WITH 'Golden Wings' scenery enhancement for FS2004, created by Lynn and Bill Lyons and availabe FREEWARE at: http://windrfters.com/
If you do not get it, it will still perform as it should but I strongly suggest you consider its installation. More details at the above link. Also, please read about the MESH below. Anyway, wichever one you are using, this file is free so you won't be waisting much if you try it.
Not tested but should work in FS2002 but, without Golden Wings and, the airport will not list in the airport menu.

KNOW ISSUES and other stuff:
There is no runway to this airfield. Simply pick a spot and land. Certain spots have tall grass. At night, fires will be lit on each side of 'a' runway.
I have installed a 'convenient' heli start location at the fire tower which is on top of the nearby mountain.
The Northern Lights have a mind of their own. They will appear and disapear on their own. I have placed a few of those with many Québec Bush sceneries so, do not be suprised if you suddenly come face to face with one.
Nit pickers and bug chasers are NOT welcomed to send me their comments. You do not like it, sorry, I will double your money back. Just send me a copy of your invoice.
If I find a way to improve an item or a texture, even if this item or texture is used in a previous release, I reserve the right to change it anytime.

"qc09_2K4a.zip, qc09_2K4b.zip, qc09_2K4c.zip, qc09_2K4d.zip" and
"scenes_du_quebec_2k4.zip" This latter one includes all the others like "ilesstlaurentqc.zip" and more.

The above files are the ones I use and recommend to view my next sceneries.

I N S T A L L A T I O N
During installation, overwrite if prompted to do so.
Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the 'Effects' folder into: xxxxxxx/Flight Simulator 9/Effects
Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the Addon Scenery folder into:
xxxxxxx/Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery/Scenery
Place the COMPLETE FOLDER 'Kanawata Fire Tower' with its contents where you usually install your sceneries, normally: xxxxxxx/Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery
If you wish, after, you may cut and paste the CONTENTS ONLY of the texture folder into the main texture
folder of your simulator. DO NOT REMOVE THE EMPTY FOLDER OR IT WON'T WORK.
Activate in the scenery library.
Restart Flight Simulator and enjoy
