B52 Panel for FS2000 users Panel No.2... Six Engines/Color
________________

All concerns with this panel are freeware/shareware.

This means you most likely already have the gauges used for this panel therefore simply use overwrite exiting gauges. Many gauges are default gauges, so these will automatcally load from the FS2000 files installed with Flight Simulator 2000.

Panel.cfg and bitmap files:
**********************************
These go to your...(1.) Panel folder for the particular aircraft

(2.) Create a folder and then put the panel.cfg and bitmaps into your newley created folder.

Your "newly created" folder then goes into the AIRCRAFT\ fsfsconv... folder.
By doing this you can have any model use the panel by entering the path to your new folder and making the proper path for your new folder, after the word
"alias=" in any aircraft's individual panel folder.

Gauges Files:
*************************
These files go to into your main GAUGES...folder

Use the panel for any B52 model you have. Also check for new deluxe B52H six pack of B52 Bombers on SurClaro and SurClaro.com

ALTERNATIVE: (As mentioned)

This panel can be put in your individual aircraft folder. Or you can put it anywhere on your hard drive and use the "alias" option to locate the panel files.

To have several different aircraft use the same panel, simply write its locaton in that particular aircraft's panel folder after the... alias=...entry.

Note:

This panel is for an experienced flight simmers. Hence you don''t need a two foot gauge to understand what it does and what is indicating to you. Those who fly B52 models will enjoy this old style panel.

I wanted to create realistic looking panels for the B52 and have put together six of them.

A B52 cockpit is not suppose to look nice and attractive. It is a practical cockpit with lots of gauges. I have six panels made. If this panel is acceptable to flight simmers, then the rest of the panels will be uploaded. I also have KC-135 panels which can be used with any KC-135, B707, or DC8 simulator models.

The panels have "full views" and "pilot views" some have six sets of engine gauges, others have eight sets of engine gauges.

I don't see where anyone should have any problem running these panels, because the frame rate stays pretty good..even on my old computers.

Some of the twin views put the point of focus right in the middle of the window.
If you don't like this centered position, then use paintbrush to remove or relocate the center window frame/frames. It is not hard task to accomplish.

I ask you to acknowledge all the designers involved with the gauges...they are people who gave us some great creations for our flight simulators. Basically they all say the same thing [ DO NOT SELL ] these creations are FREEWARE and SHAREWARE and their rights must be honored. There are far to many names to list them all here and again most everyone out there already has these gauges loaded on their machines. The reason the gauges are included (is just in case someone out there does not have the gauges downloaded) hence they are download and available for your use and enjoyment. Right click any gauge and check its properties here you will find who created it and what date it was created.

I want people to help me improve these panels...
Your suggestions will be well read.
We need to get away from cartoon type panels and picture-perfect looking panels...especially for older aircraft.

There are plenty of gauges for you to toy around with, therefore your long flights won't get boring to say the least.

I have more panels and more special airports...for uploading.

If you don't like the gauges installed, then use "CFGEdit" to delete or add gauges you do like to use. CFGEdit is available for free at Abucus.com

Enjoy!!!
