A representation of a Pitcairn Mailwing PA-5 biplane built in 1927-1928 for carrying mail in
Contract Air Mail (C.A.M.) Service.
This version being a representatioin of the plane that flew the C.A.M. Route #7 between Chicago & Detroit.

Installation:
Note: Please make sure that you have the correct version of the Pitcairn Mailwing for your Flight simulator.
Otherwise features specific to your sim will not function correctly.

Unzip all files to your FS98/aircraft folder.
(your unzip utility should be set up to create the appropriate sub folders.)

Move the gauges to your FS98/gauges folder.

Move the click.wav to your FS98/sound folder.
No need to overwrite this file if prompted.
This sound file is for the lights switches and only functions if you mouse click any of the light switches.

Tested with full realism set to highest. Auto-coordination turned OFF.

Issues:

1)Some bleeds.....i know, I know..
2)The FS2000 only version of this plane tends to turn to the left in level flight.
I fly with the trim controls set so that the plane will fly level and straight.
to do this you climb to altitude. turn off num lock and hit numberpad #7 or #1 until
the plaen flys level. To adjust for left trun engine torque hit #6(ailerons) or enter(rudder)
(#5 centers all the controls but the trim)
3)Brakes. (not sure if this plane had them or not.)
4)Engine fuel/prop mix adjustment may give higher speed.(max speed level should be 130 mph)
5)There are no landing lights in FS2000 add-on planes. (Sorry, not my fault.) This issue is rather important to this plane
as it has 1 million candlepower lights on each wing. Landing lights are used however in FS98.
