Bombardier CRJ Panel Version 2b (Optimized for POSKY's CRJ-200)

This panel was created using portions of Chris Alevritis' CRJ bitmap with revisions and new additions to better compliment and maintain compatibility with the POSKY CRJ VC. Also included are Eric Marciano's incredible radar gauge, Jorge Salas' collection of switches and toggles, a few files and the pushback gauge from the good folks at FPDA, the signs2k gauge by Christian Koegler, Bill Morad's 'can't do without it' ATC panel, and an assembly of HUD gauges from Paul Golding. This panel also uses FS2002 default gauges (I believe the standard version of 2002 includes the necessary gauges - but since I'm using the pro version, I'm not quite sure). Pete Dowson's FSUIPC version 2.83 or later is also required.

UPDATE HISTORY:

Changes to the second release include;

-Added 'Pushback' gauge.
-Added Jorge Salas' switch and toggle sets.
-Added fuel cut-off toggles to the throttle quadrant (below the throttle levers) to kill those pesky engines.
-Repackaged radar gauge in Honeywell frame.
-Removed gps from Honeywell bitmap and placed in main panel Honeywell bitmap frame (for night-lighting compatibility).
-Added Bill Morad's ATC panel (access ATC options with the mouse instead of the keyboard).
-Added toggle (right knob on ND frame) to switch between rose and arc nav displays.
-Moved nav/gps toggle to left knob on ND frame
-Included a panel config file with callouts, trim sounds, and gear sounds (for those who like lots of noise), and one without.
-Removed marker beacon lights as they are included on the PFD.

Changes to this third release include;

-Revised windshield center post perspective
-Expanded and revised overhead panel
-Added working HUD viewable with and without the overhead panel
-Placed all fuel management toggles on the throttle panel
-Added 'click' to all switches
-Corrected 'tool tip' help text
-Enlarged 'click' area on MFD for nav/gps and arc/rose toggles
-Toned down night lighting

INSTALLATION:

Unzip the lscrjv2b archive to a temporary folder.

Copy the contents of the panel folder to your chosen FS2002/aircraft panel folder.

Note: to use the panel config file without altitude 'callouts' rename the panel.cfg to something else (say panel_callouts.cfg) and rename the panel_no_callouts.cfg to panel.cfg (you know the drill).

Copy the contents of the gauges folder to the FS2002/gauges folder.

Note: copy the cpt. (cab) folders into your gauges folder just as you do the .gau files - do not extract the gauges.

Copy the contents of the sound folder to the FS2002/sound folder.

Be sure to use the new cab files included (and keep the crj. prefix) even if you have the original files, as these have been modified from their original format for this panel.

That should do it. All other gauges are default (I've included the default Lear 45 radio as I've had a few folks tell me they've lost theirs).

Credits:
-Thanks to all the freeware authors out there for providing us with all these neat toys.
-Thanks to Eric Marciano for the remarkable radar gauge.
-Thanks to Jorge Salas for the switch and toggles files (he has a fine array of switches for just about any application).
-Thanks to Chris Alevritis (whom I've been unable to contact for permission) for his bitmap as a starting point.
-Thanks to the entire FPDA group for all the panel and wind sound gauges and wav files, as well as the pushback gauge.
-Thanks to Christian Koegler for the signs2k gauge.
-Thanks to Bill Morad for eliminating the need to hunt for ATC responses on the keyboard with his terrific ATC gauge.
-Thanks to Paul Golding for the use of his HUD gauges (from his legendary MD87 panel).
-Thanks to Ed Struzynski for FS Panel Studio, which was used to assemble this panel.

If I've missed anyone please consider yourself included.

This is my first attempt (third version) at giving something back to the community, so whatever you may think of the panel - my intentions are honorable.

I will certainly assist with any problems or questions (at least to my somewhat limited ability at this point). This panel is relatively simple and was fun to assemble, and I think it compliments the CRJ well. Anyway, thanks for your interest.
