FEATURES

Flight Sim 2000 McDonnell Douglas KC-10A "EXTENDER" Cargo/Tanker from the 60th/349th Air Mobility Wings, Travis Air Force Base, Califonia. This Aircraft features maximum moving parts (including elevators, ailerons, rudders, flaps, rotating engine fans, landing gear, landing gear doors and Arial Refueling Boom. Has 12 sided fuselage and 3d engines. When the boom is extended you will see some nice lighting effects.

INSTALLATION

To install,

After Unziping this file just copy the KC-10FS2K folder to your flightsim 2000 Aircraft's folder. You may delete the pictures if you wish. Run FS2000 and select the KC-10FS2K From your choice of Aircraft. Panel is the FS2000 B737 Panel 3 Engine Version. Read below if you want a DC-10 panel for this Aircraft. This Aircraft was tested with the Flight Sim 2000 Professional edition with all the UPGRADES and PATCHES from Microsoft ONLY. Make sure you have them installed before you E-mail me with problems.

NOTE:

To extend the BOOM use the spoiler ( / ) Key. Do not use the spoilers when landing (boom will extend). I have modified the .air file for Max Braking and Reverser so you will come
to a quick stop regardless. Boom will cause some drag but not much.

KC-10A GEE WIZ STUFF

The McDonnell Douglas KC-10 is a modified version of the DC-10-30F with greatly augmented fuel capacity, inflight-refueling boom and hosereel for probe-equiped receiver aircraft. First flown 12 July 1980 and planned orders for 60 announced in 1982. Originally assiged to Stratigic Air Command (SAC), they are now part of the Air Mobility Command (AMW) fleet based of TRAVIS AFB, CALIFORNIA (60th/349th) and MAGUIRE AFB, NEW JERSEY (305th). Squadrons that flight this beutiful bird include the 6th, 9th, 70th and 79th Air Refueling
squadrons (Travis), and the 2nd and 32nd Air Refueling Squadrons (MaGuire). For more info:
