Ka 8 for FS98
A one seat glider for high performance in the 60's

This airplane requires Microsoft Flight Simulator 98
(tested with US version only). Already converted.

T/O Weight: 310 kg max., 185 kg empty
Length: 7 m
Wing span: 15 m
Top cruise speed: 190 km/h
Stall speed: 60 km/h
Glide ratio: 27:1 at 75 km/h
Minimum sinkrate: 0.65 m/s at 65 km/h
The panel is fitted out with metric instruments (speed and sinkrate).
Operation:
Take-off with a little trick, under the menue "exact location"
type in your desired hight and speed and then you will be beamed up to what
you like.
Installation to FS98
Create under your \FS98\AIRCRAFT directory a new subfolder KA8
then create 4 new subfolders under KA8 named:
MODEL , PANEL , SOUND and TEXTURE.
The following files enclosed in the KA-8.ZIP must
go exactly to:
\KA8 - copy ka8.air , aircraft.cfg
\MODEL - copy ka8.mdl , model.cfg
\PANEL - copy the contents of panel.zip
\SOUND - copy sound.cfg
\TEXTURE - copy ka8.0af to ka8.4af
Then copy the contents of gauges.zip to the FS98 subfolder \GAUGES
