Unzip the included zip into your API folder of Airport for Windows. I would suggest placing your own folder into the api
folder of Airport for Windows and unzipping these into it.
ALL FIREWORKS LAST FOR ONE HOUR. SMOKE DISPLAYS ALL THE TIME DAY
AND NIGHT AND HAVE NIGHT GLOW.
These apis use effects already in your FS9 effects folder except
for the NOVA effects.
The old faithful effect may be used as a fountain. YOU CANNOT
CHANGE THE SIZE OF AN EFFECT. I'VE TRIED...
To add fireworks simply chose the one you want and place it at
the altitude you want it in the scenery. For example - I have added fireworks on the main deck by the pool on cruise ships.
Simply slew with your Bell helicopter and deduct 4 feet from the
altitude shown. Restart FS and tweak the location if needed.
You may place as many of the apis on top of one another as you wish or place them side by side.
For smoke check the altitude you wish to place the effect by slewing over a smokestack, etc and checking the altitude. with a little practice you can add smoke to your ships and sceneries.
Smoke is set to always display.
Several resource files are included for the smoke to help you to use the one you want. The resource pictures are based on ground level so you will notice some are by default above the ground.
tHE MORESMOKE IS IDEAL FOR SHIP SMOKESTACKS. BE SURE TO SET YOUR ALTITUDE TO THE TOP OF THE STACK.
