-------------
Background
-------------
The Airbus A310 is one of my favorite commercial jetliners. It has fascinated me ever since the first time I was a passenger on one in 1985 with Eastern Airlines (remember them?). So, likewise in the simulator I truly enjoy flying this aircraft. In addition, as an American, I have always been fascinated with Russian aviation and Russian airlines; especially Aeroflot. To tie it all together, I saw this very aircraft (i.e.: Aeroflot A310-308/ET) at Washington Dulles International Airport (KIAD) several years ago. So in wanting to recreate all of that, I searched the major sim websites to find a good quality repaint of the A310 in Aeroflot livery and could not find one. So, I thought it was time to set out on an adventure and paint it myself. This package is the result of that adventure. I hope you enjoy flying it as much as I did creating it. I paid attention to detail as much as possible and as much as I could with this paint kit. To that end, the textures in this repaint are all 32-bit. They require some compute power to load. If you would rather DXT format, send me an email and I will send you the textures in that format.

Installation Instructions:
----------------------------
Prerequisites:
As this is a "textures only" package, you must have the HNAC A310-308 model installed. You can download it from HNAC's website by following this link:
http://www.hnac.org/files/a310/308AIBv2.zip

Once you have installed the model (or if you already have it installed), extract the contents of this zip file into the folder that contains your HNAC A310-308. Remember to use the "Use Folder Names" option.
The extraction will create folder named texture.Aeroflot. It will also create a file named fltsim.Aeroflot.txt. That file contains the entry that must be added to your Aircraft.cfg file following the last entry. Simply
change the 'X' in the [fltsim.X] header to the next sequential number in your aircraft.cfg file. For example, if the last entry is [fltsim.1] then change the 'X' to 2.

Other Enhancements:
-------------------------
I suggest that if you want an "as real as it gets" experience in your A310 download and install the following:

Panel:
-------
A300 by Simon Topmann (HNAC). Download the following files at SurClaro.com;
a306-v3.1-hnac.zip
a306-v3-hnac.zip
a306_bmp.zip (Center post replacement image)

Simon Topmann also has a panel specifically for the A310, but his V3 A300 panel is much better.

Sounds:
---------
I suggest the General Electric CF6-80C2A Series Sounds by Emil Serafino Jr. (FS Sound Project). They are made for the HNAC A310.
Download file cf6-80_a300_a310_v6_final.zip at SurClaro.com.
