This plane was built using FS2002 PRO and that is all that I know the plane will fly on. Fly on other Flight Simulators at you own risk.

On my computer I have a folder (that I made) with the path c:\temp. I always unzip the planes that I download to this [temp] folder first. You may unzip to any folder you like as my method is not the only one to use. Extract all files into the folder of your choosing. Use WINZIP in Classic Mode to extract (do not use the Wizard). Make sure the "Use Folder names" BOX is checked.New folders will be created and all files unzipped. Go then to the folder that you unzipped the CT2K plane files by using Windows Explorer or My Computer.

All of my CT2K aircraft (wheels or amphibian) use the same gauge files so if you already have installed one aircraft you have the gauges for the other aircraft.

First

Select all of the files in the [Gauges] folder in the [temp] folder (my example) by first clicking on the [Gauges] folder name and then use "ctrl-a" to select all the files in that folder. Next hit "ctrl-c" to copy those files. You will now paste the copied files in the appropriate place in FS2002. Go to the place that your FS2002 is stored on your computer using Windows Explorer or My Computer. This path might look like---c:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\GAUGES. This path is my path and your path may be different depending on how you installed your flight simulator. Click on the [Gauges] folder under FS2002. Press "ctrl-v" to paste the copied files into the [Gauges] of FS2002. This is where the individual aircraft in your flight simulator looks for gauge files automatically. All gauge files for all the aircraft are stored there.
NOW PAY ATTENTION. If you get messages asking if you want to REPLACE certain gauges that are already in the FS Gauge folder, select NO for EACH gauge that is already in the FS gauge folder. The gauges that are not already there will be placed in the FS Gauge folder automatically. Saying NO to ALL when the paste command asked you if you want to replace files will paste NONE of the files that you have selected and all of your work will have been in vain. This is especially important if you want to try to use the CT2K aircraft in FS2004. Microsoft says that FS2002 aircraft should fly in FS2004 but I understand that for FS2004 you might get in trouble by overwriting the gauges in that version of FS.

Second

Go to the [temp] folder (my example) with Windows Explorer or My Computer. Click on the [Flight Design] or [Flight Design Amphibian] folder depending on what you downloaded. Copy this actual folder and by default all of its subfolders by entering "ctrl-c". Navigate to where your Flight Simulator is and find a folder called [Aircraft]. This is where your flight simulator looks for any new aircraft automatically. Click on [Aircraft] to select it. Enter "ctrl-v" to paste the new CT2K aircraft in this folder.

Third

Start up FS2002. Your new aircraft should show up in FS2002 either by hitting Alt when you want to change aircraft during a specific flight or when creating a new flight. That's it. Incidently each of the above aircraft can be chosen during the same selection process when you choose Flight Design as the family of the aircraft and the indivdual aircraft as a sub-category. This assumes that you downloaded and installed both the wheel and amphibian models.

About FS2004, I am not sure that these aircraft will work completely in FS2004 for they use a gauge called gps500x.gau. This gauge works in conjunction with a gauge called gps.gau that comes with FS2002. I am not sure that gps.gau comes with FS2004. Check FS2004 by searching the [Gauges] folder for it. If it is not there then the GPS unit in the CT2K model will probably not work. I have included gps.gau from FS2002 in the zip file but do not overwrite the gps.gau file in FS2004 if it is already present in FS2004.

Good luck!
