A simulation of the real-world 483 acre Hricziscse Ranch located in Langell Valley, southeast Oregon, 21nm east of KLMT. Of course, I don't really have an airstrip, but it would be neat. Landclass also used to more closely depict the agricultural nature of the valley. Some artistic leeway is used of course in the depiction of the ranch and its surroundings. It's a lot cleaner(sterile) in FS than real-life. No piles of barbed-wire, junk machinery etc.

This is your chance to explore southern Oregon and have a friendly base of operations. The does have fawns, cows are calving, rockchucks (yellow-bellied marmots) are running around, daily ranch work is being conducted in the lower fields, and there is plenty of parking. Night lights are in use for the late flyers. There are plenty of packages to be delivered and lots of shop space for those pesky repairs. Need something in town? Jump in a pickup and head for KFalls (Klamath Falls/KLMT-approx 35 road miles), keys are in the ignition.

Coffee is always on.

There are no trees at the end of rwy11 at all in real life just as
there is no real airstrip, but I liked the challenge of the trees.
Pretty much everything else is really there in the real world as far
as building placement goes. The house and yard, corrals,
outbuildings, barn, hay shed, fuel tank, etc are really there.
Actually, the flightsim scenery is pretty sterile. I've never seen
the ranch look so clean! Haha!.....Oh! BTW, I installed lights for
the airstrip so it can be used at night too. I figured why not, if
I'm going to have my own rwy, might as well have lights too.

Must have already installed:
1. the usual "must have" files; such as nova, airport, Gerrish Grays v3 trees, etc.
-----------------------------

--This scenery was initially designed for use with FSGenesis Westcoast mesh. Alternate files provided for FS9 default mesh users.--

Suggested mesh to view the scenery as accurately as possible:

1. FSGenesis_The West Coast 38.2m Terrain Mesh-Full Installer by Justin Tyme ( fsg_westcoast38m.zip ) or at the very least, FSGenesis-The West Coast 38.2m Terrain Mesh- San Francisco Bay Region which covers this area of southern Oregon ( fsg_dem38_uswc_sanfranciscobay.zip ). Both available in the avsim library.

*Alternate files included for use with FS9 default mesh*

GENERAL INSTALLATION

1. effects folder: place the contents into FS9's effects folder if you don't already have the nova smoke effects installed.

2. Hricziscse Ranch folder: place the entire folder and its contents where you keep your sceneries. Activate the scenery in FS9's library. Restart FS9.
A. For FS9 default mesh users: Copy/Paste the contents of the "FS9 Default Mesh" folder into the Hricziscse Ranch\Scenery folder, overwrite when prompted.

3. Langell Valley_landclass folder: place the entire folder and its contents where you keep your sceneries. Activate like scenery in FS9's library. Restart FS9. (there is not a texture folder by design )

**4. scenery_AFCAD folder: In addition to activating the airstrip properties, Here you have a choice for the scenery to have an active Ndb radio signal or not.

A. If you want the Ndb radio to be active and showing in the GPS and map:
Copy/Paste the "AF2_H1OR.bgl" into FS9's Addon scenery/scenery folder found by default at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\scenery.

B. If you do NOT want the Ndb radio active and showing in the GPS and map:
Copy/Paste the "AF2_H1OR.bgl.no ndb" into FS9's Addon scenery/scenery folder found by default at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\scenery and rename it to "AF2_H1OR.bgl". (no quotation marks)
