Boeing 737 Trim Sound Gauge
version 1.1

Programming: Andreas Jaros & Konstantin Prokopiu
Sounds: Wilco van Deijl

For questions please use our forum on the FPDA-Homepage.

This is a standalone gauge that makes the typical sound of the elevator trim of the Boeing 737. I made this for adding this sounds to all flights, even to adventures that don't include this callouts.

What does the gauge?
Everytime you move the elevator trim you will hear this typical sound of the trim of the Boeing 737 ;-)

What is new to this version?
In this version the bug was fixed that you could hear the trim almost all the time when the AP is activated. Now I included a small tolerance where you will hear nothing.

If you want to use this gauge in a panel you want to upload somewhere, please include this FPDA_Trim_Sound_Readme.txt to your panel! And please read the Copyright section of this txt.

Installation:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Copy the wav to your FS98-main-sound directory (...\FS98\SOUND) and the gauge to the FS98-main-gauge-directory (...\FS98\GAUGES). Then add to the panel.cfg of that panel you want to include this gauge the following:
gaugeXX=FPDA_Trim_Sound, XXX, YYY
The "XX" stands for the next gauge number. As an example here some lines from the MS-737-panel:
...
gauge15=737-400.ADI, 334, 55
gauge16=737-400.HSI, 334, 301
gauge17=737-400.Landing-Gear, 1170, 137
The last gauge number of the [Window00] is here the 17, so write for the "XX" the 18 and add it to this lines:
...
gauge15=737-400.ADI, 334, 55
gauge16=737-400.HSI, 334, 301
gauge17=737-400.Landing-Gear, 1170, 137
gauge18=FPDA_Trim_Sound, XXX, YYY
The "XXX" and "YYY" stand for the x-coordinates ("XXX") and the y-coordinates ("YYY") of the gauge whereit should be displayed.
Because this gauge doesn't have any visible parts it doesn't matter where you position it. But there can be 3dfx-problems if you place it wrong. Because I don't have a 3dfx-card I can't help you here, sorry.
