Focke-Wulf Ta283 For FS2002 - By Steve Robinson.
Modern version of the Focke Wulf Ta283 designed by German engineers at the end of the war. Originally powered by two ram-jets it achieved takeoff through a rocket motor housed in the rear of the fuselage, once airborne the ram-jets would take over. The aircraft would probably have achieved speeds in excess of 700 mph!. This particular aircraft is powered by conventional jet engines and fitted with modern gauges. Designed using GMAX it is fully animated with a dynamic VC, opening canopy, lights e.t.c. Comes in 2 paint schemes.
It does require at least a 6000 ft runway to take off with a full fuel load.
