FS98/FS2000 Propliner for FS Traffic
a "FREEWARE" file
Version 1 2/2000
**********************************************************
Unzip into your FS98/FS2000 AIRCRAFT folder using the "stored folders"
option of your unzip program.

This is only usable in FS98 or FS2000 as an FST "default ILS tracks" aircraft.

Built and painted by Tom Gibson, tgibson@sunstroke.sdsu.edu

This plane is to be used in FS Traffic. It will appear properly when used on default ILS
tracks due to the constant transparent prop disk, and all open doors have been removed.

NOTE: This plane and many other classic airliners can be
downloaded free from Tom Gibson's Classic Airliners at -

Installation:

DO NOT USE THE CONVERTER ON THIS PLANE; IT IS ALREADY IN FS98/FS2000 FORMAT

[Files] belongs in:
xxx.air : Flight model file. FS2000\AIRCRAFT\XXX\
xxx.*af : Texture files. FS2000\AIRCRAFT\XXX\TEXTURE\
xxx.mdl : Model file. FS2000\AIRCRAFT\XXX\MODEL\
aircraft.cfg: Aircraft cfg file. FS2000\AIRCRAFT\XXX\
model.cfg : Model cfg file. FS2000\AIRCRAFT\XXX\MODEL\
panel.cfg : Panel cfg file. FS2000\AIRCRAFT\XXX\PANEL\
sound.cfg : Sound cfg file. FS2000\AIRCRAFT\XXX\SOUND\

XXX = Aircraft/airline code. For the United CV-340, the code is FST340UAL.

Replace [FS2000] in the paths above with the location of your FS98 or FS2000
installation (the folder that has fltsim98.exe in it). Any other files
are not needed.

1. If you use an unzipper that keeps stored folders intact, just move
the 340XXX folder (and it's contents) to the FS2000 AIRCRAFT folder.

1a. If not, create all the folders listed above, and move the files
into the specified folders.

2. Now use FST's Aircraft Converter to convert the plane to FST format.

3. Restart FS2000 as requested.

3. Check out the FST plane in FS; if the gear height is correct, skip to step 5.

4. If the gear height is incorrect in FS2000, try this:

a. Remove the plane in FST's Aircraft Converter.

b. Quit FS

c. Start FS

d. Add the plane back in FST's Aircraft Converter.

e. Check out the FST plane in FS.

5. You may delete the aircraft's folder from the FS98/FS2000 AIRCRAFT folder if
you don't want it to take up disk space.
