FS2000/FS98 SAAB 90-A2 Scandia.
The 'Scandia' was one out of two civil projects at SAAB, initiated in
1944. The Scandia was built for short/medium hauls and carried 24-32 passengers.
First flight was in November 1946. The first delivery, to Swedish ABA, one of
the original partners of SAS, took place in late 1950.The cold war put an abrupt
end to this pioneering civil project, to make room for the J29, and 18 units
only were built. They served in Brazil with VASP until 1969.

The flight dynamics model has been thoroughly tested by Floriano S. Pacheco, who
is an experienced Scandia pilot with VASP. Detailed checklists, based on SAAB
original documents, are included. Four liveries included: SAS, Aerovias Brasil
and two different VASP paintings.

Aircraft design and painting by Bertil Nilsson.
