Hello!

Thanks for downloading this repaint of the wonderful FFX Boeing 737-500 model. I'll keep this as short as I can.

To Install the Textures:

1) Add the following (using cut and paste) to your FFX B737-500 aircraft.cfg file:

[fltsim.x]
title=Boeing 737-500_FX Braathens NL
sim=Boeing737-500
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=braathens_nl
visual_damage=1
kb_checklists=Boeing737-400_check
kb_reference=Boeing737-400_ref
atc_id=N700MS
atc_airline=Polar Tiger
atc_flight_number=4731
ui_manufacturer=Boeing
ui_type=737-500
ui_variation=Braathens (Northern Lights)
description=

2) Look at the aircraft.cfg entries above the one you just added. Then, replace the "x" in the line [fltsim.x] with the number AFTER the number you see in the entry before this one. For example: if the entry before the new one is

[fltsim.13]
title=Boeing 737-500_FX Southwest CA1
sim=Boeing737-500
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=swacanc
visual_damage=1
kb_checklists=Boeing737-400_check
kb_reference=Boeing737-400_ref
atc_id=N700MS
atc_airline=Skywest
atc_flight_number=0862
ui_manufacturer=Boeing
ui_type=737-500
ui_variation=Southwest Airlines (California One)

change the letter "x" to the number "14".

3) Drop the texture folder, as is, into your FFX B737-500 folder.

4) Load up flightsim, look under Boeing-->737-500, and enjoy the flight!

These files are for the FREE use and enjoyment of the flight simulation community, so please do not sell them for any purpose. You may use the textures in any manner you wish as long as you acknowledge where they came from. The wing, tail, and engine textures are by Erick Cantu of FFX. Thanks to him for sharing the textures and the incredible model with all of us.
